Casa Hispana is a certified not-for-profit community development corporation in the State of Wisconsin. We were founded in 2006, and we operate a bilingual center at the Goodwill offices in Menasha to provide information, referrals, support, and advocacy to area Hispanics. Casa Hispana sponsors programs and events to advance the economic, social, and cultural position of the Hispanic/Latino community in the Fox Valley and surrounding communities. The most important of these is our Casa Hispana Scholarship Program which has awarded over $73,000 to 110 talented Hispanic students. We will award at least (eight) $500 scholarships in May of 2013. CASA HISPANA STORY Casa Hispana was established in 2006 as a certified 501(c) 3 not-for-profit community development corporation in the State of Wisconsin. Founded for the purpose of developing and implementing economic development initiatives that would positively contribute to the quality of life for Hispanics/Latinos in the Fox valley, we utilize various resources and tools that allow the organization to serve as a catalyst for change within the Latino community. While Casa Hispana services he Fox Cities, a majority of our clients continually come from other parts of northeastern Wisconsin, these areas are undergoing significant demographic changes.
